About Soaring With Eagles
About Soaring With Eagles

In a time when people, especially young people, are looking for guidance and hope, the authors of this book seek to provide a little of both. Soaring with Eagles is a guide for young boys who aspire to Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouting. Through their personal stories of their experiences in Scouting and Joe, Sr.'s experiences at West Point, this father and son team seek to mentor and guide aspiring Eagle Scouts in their quest to achieve what only a small percentage of Scouts ever achieve. It is the authors' firm belief that every scout can become an Eagle Scout with the right coaching, motivation, education, and bias towards action. This book will augment the teaching of scout leaders and parents by relating directly to aspiring Eagle Scouts and guiding them to honorably put into action what it means to be "trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.”

Our Story

Joe, Sr. is a leader with a passion to share what he knows with others who aspire to lead. He has shared his hands-on approach to help build stronger and more profitable businesses peopled by inspired leaders. He is a professor in Project Management at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and a full time leadership coach and mentor. He has been married to his wife, Terri, for 31 years and together they have raised five awesome children!

The younger Joe lives in Buffalo, New York and spends much of his spare time writing or with his partner, Amanda.  Joe enjoys researching whatever catches his interest and incorporating it into his creative work, resulting in a wide range of study.  He hopes to one day publish his own work of epic fiction and get involved in scouting again with his own children someday.  He hopes that he can encourage others to pursue their own passions and treat other human beings reasonably and with genuine empathy.
